Progress the family could describe

For Rocko and Kodak's family, progress was personal: useful direction, concerns addressed, pride during a lesson and the pleasure of walking Rocko in heel. The expanded Room for Each Other film gives more room to those real voices.

At their first owner lesson, the family compared Rocko's encounter with another dog to their earlier experiences of squealing and pulling. The trainer's explanation matters too: Rocko was on a line and received a redirect for pulling. At the second lesson, the family's delighted reaction occurred during supervised shared-room practice, with Toby in a crate.

The go-home conversation gives another specific moment. The owner describes Kodak approaching their lap while Rocko was nearby; Rocko leaned in harder, then walked away. No redirect was needed during that particular interval while the trainer was outside. Later redirection remains part of the same recording.

Their written updates continue the story: heel enjoyment, more confidence outside and positive time together. They also retain limited together time, barking and a Rocko redirection. This is encouraging progress with the practice still visible.
